The vehicle undergoes over 100,000 kms of testing through CAE simulations and real-world experiments in extreme conditions, including high and low temperatures, low pressure, and other challenging environments. It is subjected to rigorous detection procedures and a demanding rollover test on diverse terrains, such as cobbled, rocky, and twisty roads, all while meeting stringent quality standards. Prior to delivery, it must pass a 20-track commission and quality test to ensure outstanding performance. Built for durability, it’s engineered to exceed 1.5 million km without major overhauls and offers a super-long maintenance interval of 100,000 km. Additionally, the cabin’s air quality surpasses national standards for long-distance coaches, providing comfort for all passengers on any journey.
The FOTON Bus is equipped with a highly efficient ISGe4 350 engine, featuring advanced iFOTON and e-AIR intelligent cooling systems. This lightweight vehicle achieves over 20% fuel savings, delivering a maximum power of 257 kW (350 HP) and 1800 Nm of torque while meeting EURO 4 emission standards. Its innovative design reduces parts by 50%, enhancing reliability and serviceability. The iBrake technology improves braking performance and control, extending service life and lowering maintenance costs. Additionally, LBSC technology optimizes fuel efficiency by saving up to 3 litters per hundred kilometres, while the integrated Cummins design ensures low emissions for a greener future.
The exterior of the FOTON Bus is inspired by a graceful crown, symbolizing its ambition to lead in the interurban bus market. It features imported Michelin tires and a spare tire with anti-explosion technology. The streamlined design combines dynamic and concise elements, while the through-type luggage compartment offers pneumatic up-sliding for convenience. The crystal headlight design integrates halogen and LED light sources, balancing aesthetics and economy, and the rear light showcases a dot-matrix LED light belt. Additionally, the ram-type intake grille enhances intake efficiency by over 20%, complementing the rear window and lights for a cohesive look.
